A few of the many letters of thanks received in 2014
Dear Chris and Nick
Just a quick note to say that we were delighted with the trip back to GB on Friday, and the drivers were excellent despite the fog which persisted most of the time. My husband's admission to the ward went very smoothly and he will be transferring to the local rehabilitation centre just as soon as a bed is free. He is already enjoying some lovely meals and looking forward to some bangers and mash!
With every good wish from

I just wanted to let you know that Mrs P arrived safely at St James's late on Monday evening and Mr P and has family have been to see her a number of times since. She is very tired but doing well and we hope she will be allowed home in the not too distant future.
We are all extremely grateful for the outstanding help and support you have all provided in making this happen and Mr P has asked me to pass on his sincere and deep felt gratitude and thanks for all that you have done in making this possible.
I would personally like to say a big thank you to you all for your wonderful support throughout and would be grateful if you could you pass on my thanks to all of those in your departments for all the behind the scenes support they have provided and for making what was a very worrying time more easy to cope with.
Thank you again and I wish you all the best. -K

Just a note to let you know that Dad's move to Newbury on Wednesday went very smoothly and he seems to be settling in well. Barry and Gerry were marvellous. Very kind and considerate, and tirelessly cheerful.
So thank you, and them, very much indeed.
Best Regards -G

I returned from Austria with 2 of your staff yesterday (Barry and Neil) and, whilst I did write a brief comment on your "sign off" document, I felt this was insufficient to properly express my thoughts on my journey.
By any standards the road and weather conditions were extreme throughout the entire journey and featured regular traffic problems caused by multiple accidents and a snow storm worse than anything I have ever previously experienced! These events added some 4 hours to the anticipated arrival time yet both Barry and Neil remained positive, professional and upbeat. I think that "going beyond the call of duty" doesn't really adequately describe it and I would just like to express my sincere thanks and commend their performance to you.
Thanks again for getting me home safely and I wish you and your staff every future success.
Best Regards -S. G.
